Over
the years I have not had a lot of success with games from
Ubi. However, with Assassin’s Creed, this game is
a decent investment in time. The game play was involving
and rewarding, the use of colourful language was not overplayed,
which added a good effect. Enzio even gets lucky in the
game, which is a true play on the Games Montreal roots.
The characters where entertaining to be modest. The ladies
within the game where played very well and the arrogance
of the men could actually be felt. I wanted to strangle
a couple of them myself. Being able to hire a variety
of groups, ie the thieves, fighters and escorts, where
valuable in saving time in retrieving items.
The
interaction with Leonardo was also a great part of the
game. He added a lot to the game I feel, since he is be
known as a genius of his time and was portrayed as such.
And from watching the trailer for Brotherhood, he will
be again.
The graphics are great and very detailed. The command
keys took some getting used to for the PC whereas I first
played Assassin’s Creed on an Xbox 360, and played
2 on a PC.
As
far as game settings, my current rig was able to crank
this game at High settings, blood setting and all.

EA
has released this game with one free play mode and the
other Membership. As a free play member you do not get
the same benefits as a paying member, however, it is still
a decent Golf Game to play.
The
courses are great to look at, laid out like you are there
and can be a challenge to play. Of course that depends
on the settings you select. You can go easy and slow,
or step it up to Average, Expert or Pro.
If
you start playing the game, remember to spend your money
on the Swing Trainer at first, leveling up your Driver,
Putter and Chipping attribute points,(Level 5 is max)
then follow up with punch etc..
They
have just updated the Levels to 60 and added some new
and harder to attain goals in the game. After reading
many pages of comments from other gamers, I can agree
that the changes, while hard to take, are in a more realistic
achievement grade then before. How I mean, is that after
playing for less then a month, I had earned over 1 Million
in game cash and was on my way to mastering several courses.
I am no Tiger woods, so overall I can see why the increases
where needed.
